Other European directives like the EMC Directive, Low Voltage (LVD) or equipment under pressure may also apply to safety equipments. Certifications like ANPI, BOSEC, BENOR, INCERT, CERTALARM, S3, FINCERTIF...are taken on a volontarily base and whitness the quality of products and their confomity to additonnal technical requirements. While purchasing a product , verify the CE marking but ask also for a quality label like mentionned here above.
