BOSEC Certification The BOSEC (Belgian Organisation for Security Certification) certification is supported by the insurance and the industry with the aim of guaranteeing the performances of the equipment. The CE marking is not a proof of the quality of a given material. The BOSEC certification of installers and designers also attests to their abilities to carry out the missions they have been entrusted with. The following fields fall within the scope of BOSEC certification: Fire detection The designers of smoke and heating ventilation systems Automatic fire extinguishing The BOSEC mark List of certified products and services ANPICERT certification ANPI created ANPICERT with the aim of delivering a quality marking for the components of fixed firefighting systems and for automatic fire detection systems. The following fields fall within the scope of BOSEC certification: Control cabinets for diesel motor pomp units Waste paper baskets Portable fire extinguishers Wheeled fire extinguishers Fire hose reels Fire extinguishing systems with aerosol List of certified products BENOR-ATG certification Passive fire protection (fire-resistant (Rf) doors and products) - BENOR-ATG certification Within the framework of a mandate given by the NBN (Bureau for Standardization) - depository of the BENOR mark - and in collaboration with the UBAtc (Union belge pour l'Agrément technique de la construction) - depository of the ATG mark -, the BOSEC delivers a BENOR-ATG certification for fire-resistant doors and products. This certification is based on the standard NBN 713-020 and on the technical specifications STS 53. List of certified products CE marking Within the framework of the construction products directive 89/106/EEC, ANPI is a notified body competent to carry out the certification of conformity of components or fixed firefighting systems-kits. ANPI has been assigned the identification number 1134.
