Do you know that:
- The Dutch consumer safety authorities have launched an investigation into the fire safety of hoverboards.
- There have already been fires involving hoverboards in Assenede,Beernem, Wielsbeke, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw and Turnhout.
- In the US in July 2016 almost 500,000 hoverboards were withdrawn from sale due to lithium-ion battery failure.
- Several airlines are banning hoverboards from their flights because of the risk of fire.
