ANPI intègre les activités de laboratoires d'essais, d'inspection, d'audit, de certification et une bibliothèque.

Les laboratoires disposent des équipements spécifiques aux essais "incendie" et "vol" (foyers types, tunnels de fumée, robot). Ils effectuent des essais de compatibilité électromagnétique (EMC) et de sécurité électrique, des essais mécaniques (bancs, vibreuse) et des essais environnementaux.

ANPI assure le contrôle des installations et systèmes de détection incendie, d'extinction au gaz et sprinkler à eau ou à mousse, les mesures de débits, la vérification de plans, la classification assureur et le contrôle des équipements antivol et anti-intrusion.

ANPI integreert de activiteiten van proeflaboratoria, inspectie, audit, certificatie en een bibliotheek.

De laboratoria beschikken over specifieke uitrustingen voor proeven inzake "brand" en "diefstal" (typevuurhaarden, rooktunnel, robot). Ze voeren proeven uit inzake elektromagnetische compatibiliteit (EMC) en elektrische veiligheid, mechanische proeven (bank, triltoestel) en omgevingsproeven.

ANPI realiseert de controle van installaties en systemen voor branddetectie, van blusinstallaties met gas en sprinkler met water of schuim, debietproeven, het nazicht van de plannen, de classificatie van de verzekeraars en de controle van antidiefstal en anti-inbraak uitrustingen.
