International Firefighters' Day

International Firefighters' Day has been celebrated every 4 May since a massive fire (forest fire in Australia) killed 4 professional firefighters on 4 January 1999. Since then, we celebrate the universal patron saint of all firefighters to remember those firefighters who fight fires every day.

On this occasion, ANPI would like to pay tribute to the remarkable work of these men and women, both professionals and volunteers, who are committed to fighting fires every day.

As a European reference in fire prevention, our primary mission is to work hand in hand with the rescue areas to

  • Prevent fire risks with proven methods and adapted resources;

Our experience of more than 50 years also allows us to be recognised as a continuously updated information tool for all fire fighters in order to :

  • Facilitate their interventions;
  • Make their missions safer.
