What ANPI has recently learned about CE marking of fire resistant doors?
NBN EN 14531-2 and NBN EN 16034 will soon be mandatory.
- CE marking is imminent. At the moment the coexistence period is not yet defined, the obligation to mark could be made compulsory in 2024.
- For installers: nothing changes in the short term.
- For architects and specifiers: require precise performance (via a declaration of performance) but not yet the obligation of CE marking. The revision of STS 53.1 - the reference for specifiers - is about to start.
