Fire prevention spot for seniors
"A fire detector saves anyone" is the message conveyed by a video spot produced by a prevention advisor from the Walloon rescue zone. It shows grandparents welcoming their grandchildren and, once the whole household is asleep, a short-circuit in the television set causes a fire to start. "The whole family is saved by the presence of the fire detectors. The idea was for it to end well to show that a detector can save lives," says Sergeant Xavier Volcher, fire prevention advisor at the Ath fire station and director of the video.
