Save the date! On May 16 and 17, 2026, the Wavre Rescue Station (Walloon Brabant Rescue Zone) is opening its doors to the public. This is the must-attend event to discover the behind-the-scenes world of a heroic profession in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
Great news: Our team will be there with a dedicated stand to chat with you throughout this exceptional weekend!
hy attend the Wavre open days?
Whether you are an adrenaline junkie, a parent looking for activities for the kids, or simply curious, the program is packed from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM:
- Rescue demonstrations: Watch live extrication and rescue drills.
- Total immersion: Try the "smoke crawl" to understand the challenges firefighters face during an intervention.
- Kids' activities: Between bouncy castles and a dedicated junior obstacle course, your future firefighters won't have a dull moment.
- Exhibitors & souvenirs: Meet professionals and take home a souvenir of the day.
Come visit us at our stand!
Beyond the fire trucks and hoses, we look forward to meeting you.
It’s the perfect time to ask your questions and enjoy a friendly moment between demonstrations.
