Sprinklers are a long-standing proven technique for the automatic protection of storage facilities, industrial buildings, hotels, shopping centres, and general public spaces.

An effective sprinkler system involves the installation of products whose reliability is certified with a quality seal of approval.  The basic components are generally well-covered by existing quality marks. In this field, ANPI focuses on components for which there is no reference standard that guarantees performance.

We therefore conduct tests on:

  • diesel and electric pump controllers
  • sprinkler heads that have been in service for several years
  • vacuum sprinkler systems
  • hose connections
  • flexible hoses
so that they can be ANPI certified in accordance with the standards and specifications below.
  • NTN 123-2 Motor fire pump controllers used in automatic hydraulic extinguishing equipment Part 2: Diesel pump controllers - European and Belgian instructions and laboratory tests
  • NTN 123-3 Motor fire pump controllers used in automatic hydraulic extinguishing equipment Part 3: Electric pump controllers - European and Belgian instructions and laboratory tests
  • NTN 126 Reliability of sprinkler installations
  • NTN 142-1 Automatic fixed vacuum extinguishing systems Part 1: Certification of the vacuum system
  • NTN 158 L Hose connections for sprinkler installations - Part L: Instructions and laboratory tests
  • NTN 159 L Hoses for sprinkler installations - Part L: Instructions and laboratory tests
  • NTN 170 L Motor fire pump controllers used in automatic hydraulic extinguishing equipment Part 2: Diesel pump controllers - NFPA20 instructions and laboratory tests
  • CEA 4001 Sprinkler systems – Design and installation
  • NBN EN 12845 Fixed firefighting systems - Automatic sprinkler systems - Design, installation and maintenance
